In loving memory of our beloved Ken McMurdy Sr. who passed away six years ago today.

Dear Dad,

It’s the little things that can really get to you now. Like the lilac that blooms this time of year, seemingly a reminder that this anniversary is near.

The little feet that run through the house and ask about you, but will only ever really know you through the stories we tell them.

How they would have LOVED knowing you!

Six years later, it still seems so unreal. Six years of memories that you aren’t part of, and it feels likeyou should have been.

Sometimes we can feel a little closer to you when we’re doing something you taught us, or something you loved to do. We cherish those moments, take some comfort in them, and the memories we have.
