In loving memory of our beloved husband, father, grandfather Roger Bennett who passed away five years ago today.

Before my eyes he faded,

Growing weaker every day,

Doing all I could to save him

Until God took him away.

Today recalls sad memories,

Of a husband dear, gone to rest,

And the ones who think of him today

Are the ones who loved him best.

No one knows the silent heartaches

Only those who lost can tell,

The grief that is born in silence

For the one we loved so well.
