With beautiful memories of my precious husband, John A. Lestyk, who was born into Eternal Life fifteen years ago today.

My dear Mouse,

We greet another milestone.

Fifteen years have passed us by.

Why do I still miss you so?

Why do I still cry?

The tears are such a tribute

To the great man you had been.

And memories are sweet now,

They bring you back again.

To our fairy-tale existence,

A marriage made Above.

The days of wine and roses,

Filled with sweet and tender love.

But Real Life came and crept right in,

God took you Home too soon.

Left alone and shattered.

What was I supposed to do?

Then God, in His great mercy,

Gently touched my heart.

He chose a special man for me,

And gave me a new start.

This man is kind and wonderful,

He takes good care of me.

I know that this is what you’d want,

I wonder if you see.

We both honor your memory;

Your stories I still share.

I never will forget you,

And I will always care.

I’ve received so many blessing,

This much I know is true.

The blessing deepest in my heart–

In this life, I was loved by you.
