Driver hurt as car hits house in Brady Township
BRADY TWP — State police said a 19-year-old man around noon today drove into a township home after reportedly falling asleep behind the wheel.
Dustin Geagan of Slippery Rock ran over trees and bushes before driving his black 2007 Toyota Scion into the back of an attached garage and corner of a home at 115 Country Lane off Route 173.
State Police Trooper Craig Johnson said Geagan was not wearing a seat belt, but was conscious and talking before he was taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital.
The homeowner, who came home from work after the accident, said, “My husband was taking a nap between his school bus runs when he heard a crash.”
She declined to give her name.
No one in the home was hurt.
