Eugene P. Klein
Eugene P. "Gene" Klein, 75, of Mars died Tuesday evening at the LAS St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.
Born in Pittsburgh, Sept. 18, 1934, he was the son of the late Frank and Margaret Gruel Klein.
A member of Teamsters Union Local 249 in Pittsburgh, Gene was a truck driver for Inland Products of Pittsburgh. He later drove a school bus for A.J. Meyers and Son in Mars.
A member of St. Kilian Roman Catholic Church in Mars, he was a social member of the Mars VFW and belonged to the West View Sportsman's Club.
Surviving are his wife, Marilyn Brunner Klein, who he married May 31, 1980; three sons, Gerald A. Klein (Cheryl A.) of Valencia, William D. Klein (Beth) of Mars and Kenneth P. Klein (Cassandra Hoak) of Butler; his granddaughters, Delores and Rose Klein; a brother, Frank Klein Jr. (Myrtle) of Pittsburgh; and two sisters, Marion Stamos and Margaret Kirsch, both in Pittsburgh.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dolores Bittner Klein, who died Dec. 29, 1978; three brothers and two sisters.

"Gene" Klein, who died Tuesday, May 25, 2010, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Kilian Church in Mars with Father Charles Bober, pastor, officiating.
