The Concordia Haven Retirement Living Apartments, 112 Marwood Road, Cabot, will host open house events April 30 and May 1 featuring educational seminars about downsizing.

The “Downsizing for a Simpler Life” seminars will focus on helping people let go of excess items in their homes to create space that supports the next chapter in their lives.

Erika Maddamma, founder of Sunny Spaces Organizing, is the guest speaker. Hors d’oeuvres, drinks and tours will be available after the seminars. Both seminars run from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Haven I dining room. Guests should enter through entrance 2A. Registration by April 24 is preferred, but walk-ins are welcome.
