ANNIVERSARY TRIBUTE

13 years ago on April 9th we celebrated our 31st anniversary. I never would have thought it would have been our last.

13 years ago today at 9:12 pm everything changed.

13 years ago I lost the love of my life and my best friend.

13 years ago it was the last time we heard each other say I love you as you walked out the door.

Who knew that it would be the last time we ever spoke.

Who knew that the night before when we met up with your son Tim for dinner that he would treat you like crap and break your heart, and that you would be up all night crying about it.

You told me that it was over and you were done with him for good, but sadly you never got a chance to tell him that.

And I always thought that when someone passed away, that friends and family helped and were around. But it was just the opposite when you passed away. NO ONE called to check on me. No one came to the house, no one cared that I was alone or what I was going through. I even had to plan your funeral alone.

All my alleged friends and supposed family vanished. And I was even totally alone at the hospital when I claimed your body and stayed with you for almost four hours. No one showed up. It was as if no one cared.

I still don’t know what happened to you because no one would tell me. And no autopsy was ever done and I don’t know why. The only ones who know the truth are the people at Giant Eagle in Slippery Rock. And none of them would tell me anything, but they know exactly what happened.

The hardest part is not knowing what happened.

It has been a long 13 years without you, and you are on my mind every moment of every day. I’m sure no one else can say that.

Your loss left such a hole in my heart, and for 13 years now, my heart breaks each and every day.

I LOVE YOU NOW AND FOREVER...

Your husband Randy
