A Ridgeway man died when his vehicle crossed the center line and struck a tractor trailer in Boggs Township, Armstrong County, Coroner Brian K. Myers said Wednesday, April 8.

Nathan Anthony Brown, 33, was driving a 2019 Chevrolet Equinox traveling north on Route 28/66 at its intersection with Hoover Road when he crossed the center line and struck the 2025 Kenworth tractor trailer just before 5 p.m.

Brown was trapped in the driver’s seat of the Equinox and was pronounced dead at the scene.

State police in Kittanning are investigating the crash. Templeton-Pine Township, Distant, Dayton District, Kittanning #6, Rayburn Township volunteer fire departments and Kittanning #6 EMS also responded.
