Pennsylvania drivers looking to branch out from the standard three-colored license plate can choose a new “Preserve Our Heritage” special fund plate featuring the classic Pennsylvania “bank barn” architectural design.
The bank barn is a symbol of rural Pennsylvania originating from the 18th century and can typically be found built into a hillside. The special plate also features a faint image of the Liberty Bell behind the license plate number.
Pennsylvanians can order the plate by filling out form MV-911, “Application for Special Fund Registration Plate.” Each plate costs $64, with $23 of each purchase supporting the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.
