BUTLER TWP — Teachers and students at Butler County Community College’s Children’s Creative Learning Center will be featured in a training video used nationwide by the Penn State Extension Better Kid Care Program, BC3 announced Friday.

BC3 teachers and students were filmed and interviewed for the video, which is part of new staff orientation and features curriculum designed for new staff members in child care centers.

Better Kid Care provides programs, resources and professional development for early learning and care professionals caring for young children.

The program also recently named BC3’s learning center an exemplary site for early childhood education.

The Better Kid Care Program receives funding from the Pennsylvania Office of Child Development and Early Learning, a joint office of the Pennsylvania Departments of Education and Public Welfare and the Penn State Extension.
