Master Gardener workshop set for April 11

New and experienced home gardeners can prepare for the growing season by attending an upcoming workshop led by Penn State Extension Master Gardeners.

“Spring into Gardening: Soil, Buffers, and Ticks” will take place from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 11, at Penn State Extension’s Mercer County office, 453 N. Perry Highway, Mercer. Registration deadline is the end of the day April 9.

Session one covers sediment erosion and riparian buffers. Session two covers everything about ticks. Session three covers starting early for best garden results.
