The Penn State Cooperative Extension will offer pesticide update training on Oct. 12 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Butler County Community College Convocation Center.

There will be a $5 materials fee charged at the door. Preregistration is requested and can be made by contacting the Beaver County Extension Office at 724-774-3003.

Two core credits and two category 01 Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture pesticide update credits will be available for those that attend.

For those that are unable to attend on Oct. 12, the same program will also be offered on Oct. 10 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Penn State Beaver Campus, Room 115A in the General Classroom Building.

Applicator exams for private, commercial and public applicators will be given at the Butler location only, beginning at 7 p.m. There is no charge for private applicator exams. A fee will be charged for commercial and public applicator exams and category exams.
