A state police cruiser and a tractor-trailer were involved in a crash Thursday, March 26, on Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township, police said.

The crash occurred around 1:30 p.m. near mile marker 97.9. Police said the International Truck and Engine model C10 and police Dodge Durango were heading south when a large plastic piece came off the tractor-trailer and struck the cruiser’s windshield and roof.

The cruiser’s lights were then activated and both drivers pulled over. No injuries were reported.
