Elsie Ann (Sommariva) Sheldone
Elsie Ann (Sommariva) Sheldone, 78, of Rear Fourth Street, Ellwood City, passed away Monday at her home.
Born on Aug. 2, 1935, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Rose Rich Sommariva.
Elsie retired from the Ellwood City School District where she worked in the cafeteria for more than 10 years.
She was a Catholic. She enjoyed reading and cooking. Her most cherished time was spent with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her three sons, James Buffone and Ralph Buffone, both of Florida, and Robert Sheldone of Beaver; her daughter, Leslie Ann (Tim) Rough of Ellwood City; her former husband, Robert Sheldone of Ellwood City; and her five grandchildren, Samantha and Sianna Rough, and Eric, Kreg and Nicholas Buffone.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Sommariva.
Sheldone — The friends of Elsie Ann (Sommariva) Sheldone, who passed away Monday, July 7, 2014, will be received from 11 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 1 p.m. Friday at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave., Ellwood City.
