Route 422 to undergo resurfacing project
Work expected to last until late October
For the next several months, Route 422 will undergo a major resurfacing project that will stretch across two counties.
Resurfacing work will begin April 1 and is scheduled to last until Oct. 30. Work will stretch from the McConnells Mill Road intersection in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County, at the west end, to the West Park Road intersection in Muddy Creek Township.
Drivers should expect single-lane closures in both directions for the duration of the project, according to the state Department of Transportation.
