Seneca Valley’s school board approved Samantha Schmitt as the new assistant principal of Haine Middle School.

Schmitt, a resident of Renfrew, has 15 years of experience in school administration, curriculum design, professional development and education, according to the district.

She has previously served in various curriculum, student development and teaching roles at schools around Western Pennsylvania. These include ACLD Tillotson School, Falk Laboratory School and the Duquesne City School District.

“I look forward to partnering with staff to continue cultivating student success, supporting and uplifting our students, collaborating with families and contributing to the success of both Haine and the broader Seneca Valley community,” Schmitt said in a district news release.
