Police: Parker man fires gun inside residence
A Parker man is accused of firing a weapon inside a residence in Allegheny Township.
James W. Gamble, 62, was charged Monday, March 23, by state police with felony discharging a firearm in an occupied structure and two misdemeanor counts of simple assault following an incident early Monday morning.
Police responded to a Division Road home for reports of a domestic incident with shots fired. Police spoke with a woman at the scene who had a forehead injury and an abrasion on her left cheek.
The woman said her and Gamble were inside the bedroom when having an argument when Gamble looked at her, lifted a pistol toward an interior wall and fired.
Gamble told police he fired one round out a window toward a coyote, according to charging documents.
Police said the woman then ran into the bathroom where Gamble struck her with a shoe and his fist.
Gamble’s preliminary hearing has not yet been scheduled.
