Mary C. "Sis" Colligan Huml, 88, of Lisle, Ill., formerly of Westchester, Ill., and Pittsburgh, died Friday at her home.

Born Jan. 25, 1919, in Pittsburgh, she served in the Army Nurse Corps during World War II in the South Pacific Theatre of Operations and at the Hines Veteran's Hospital of Maywood, Ill.

She was a registered nurse for more than 35 years until her retirement.

Surviving are her daughter, Maureen and her husband, Richard, Peoples; two sons, Gregory Huml and his wife, Debbie, and Dr. Jeffrey Huml and his wife, Marianne; a brother, James Colligan; and nine grandchildren, Timothy, Jason, Nicholas, Catherine, Colleen and Annmarie Huml, and James, Daniel and Kelly Peoples.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton, and two brothers, Jack and Roy Colligan.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Margaret-Mary Church in Naperville, Ill.
