Anna Mae (Doria) Thomas
Anna Mae (Doria) Thomas, 76, of Plum died unexpectedly Sunday.
She was the beloved wife for 57 years of Larry A. Thomas; the loving mother of Sharon (Greg) Kozak, Robert (Karen) Thomas and Larry (Kim) Thomas Jr.; the grandmother of Christopher Kozak, Laurel Kozak, Ryan Kozak, Eric Williams, T.J. Thomas and Amanda Thomas; and the sister of Charles (Genevieve) Doria, Mary (late Louis) Roccki and Rose (Darwin) Whitehead. She also is survived by nieces and nephews.
With her husband, Mrs. Thomas was active for many years in the Plum community, including activities with the Holiday Park Civic League, working with the “Kitchen Crew” at the Our Lady of Joy Church, chaperoning Plum High School band trips, organizing AARP trips for 18 years and acting as judge for the Plum Election Board. She also enjoyed vacationing and traveling with her family.
THOMAS — Friends of Anna Mae (Doria) Thomas, who died Sunday, March 6, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the MAURICE L. KNEE, LTD. FUNERAL HOME, 7663 Saltsburg Road, across from S&T Bank, in Plum.A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Our Lady of Joy Church, 2000 O'Block Road, Plum. Entombment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.Everyone is asked to please meet at the church.
