Scholvin

Evelyn F. Scholvin, 94, of Saxonburg, formerly of Northumberland, Pa., passed away on Tuesday at the Allegheny Valley Hospital.

Born March 8, 1917, in Northumberland, she was the daughter of Fred S. and Jessie Walters Stahl.

She worked as a secretary. She was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church in Northumberland and the Order of the Eastern Star in Northumberland. She enjoyed reading, spending time with family and vacationing in Florida.

Surviving are her granddaughter, Christine (Joel) Kunkel of Saxonburg; two nephews, Fred Stahl of Littlestown, Pa., and Donald Stahl of Mooresville, N.C.; and three great- grandchildren, Alyssa, Jolene and Lucas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Eugene Scholvin, who died in December 1984; one son, Carl Scholvin; two sisters, Edna Stahl and Arlene Meck; and one brother, Carl Stahl.
