Albert “Albe” Cammisa
Albert “Albe” Cammisa, 54, of Riverview, Fla., formerly of Butler, passed away Sept. 22 at Brandon Regional Medical Center in Tampa, Fla.
Born Nov. 18, 1961, in Butler, he was a son of Shirley Cihonski Cammisa and the late Albert F. Cammisa.
Albe was employed as an inventory control manager at Rooms To Go in Florida.
He was a graduate of Butler High School, Class of 1979. While in high school, he was a member of the football team.
Albe received a Bachelor of Science degree from Carnegie Mellon University, where he also played football.
He was a member of Saint Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church in Tampa, Fla.
He was a football official for 20 years with the Florida High School Athletic Association.
Spending time with his loving family was most important to Albe. He enjoyed football and music.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Weinbaum Cammisa; one son, Jacob Cammisa at home; one daughter, Holly Cammisa at home; his mother, Shirley Cammisa of Butler; two brothers, David Cammisa and his wife, Michele, of Wilmington, Del., and Richard Cammisa and his wife, Lori, of Butler; two nephews, David and Richard Cammisa; and two nieces, Alison and Samantha Cammisa.
He was preceded in death by his father, Albert F. Cammisa, who passed away Oct. 30, 2001.
CAMMISA — Friends of Albert “Albe” Cammisa, who died Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016, will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of the blessing service at noon Saturday at the Martin Funeral Home, 429 Center Ave., Butler.
