Adams Township approves vehicle purchases
During Adams Township’s regular board of supervisors meeting on Monday, Feb. 23, a motion was passed to purchase a replacement truck for the Public Works Department to replace an older model.
The newer model of truck, which is valued at $140,916 from COSTARS Pennsylvania purchasing program will be replacing a 1996 model of International truck.
The new truck will be used for the road department and will be totally outfitted with a plow. The price includes the outfitted package. The truck is a budgeted item for 2026 having been approved in 2025 by the board.
The next regular Board of Supervisors meeting for Adams Township will be held at 7 p.m. on March 9.
