Man accused of stalking woman at SRU
A Bellefonte man is accused of stalking a woman on Slippery Rock University’s campus.
Christopher T. Loesch, 22, was charged Sunday, Feb. 22, by Slippery Rock University police with misdemeanor stalking following an incident Sunday.
Police said they were dispatched around 3 a.m. to Watson Hall for reports of a suspicious person in the building.
Police said they spoke with a woman who said she had received a message and photo of Loesch taken from inside the building. The woman had already filed a no-contact order with her hometown police department regarding Loesch.
The woman convinced Loesch to return to Watson Hall, but he fled from officers after arriving there.
Loesch’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. March 4 before District Judge Joseph Nash.
