Jackson supervisors give final approval for Kobe Point
During a meeting on Thursday, Feb. 19, Jackson Township supervisors approved a final application for Kobe Point, a planned residential development that will bring 42 single-family homes and 28 townhouses to Pattison Street Extension.
The development will sit on about 60 acres in what township manager Chris Rearick previously called a “primary residential corridor.”
The action follows tentative approval granted in January after the continuation of a public hearing from December. Officials had sought clarification from Weaver Homes regarding the development’s proposed trail system.
Township planning director Nikki Colton said last month township zoning requires developments with more than 10 units to incorporate a trail system, preserving the possibility of future connections to nearby neighborhoods or recreational areas.
