Eleanor E. Clark
Eleanor E. Clark, 92, of Mars passed away Tuesday morning at the Arbors of Valencia Woods.
Born in Pittsburgh on June 2, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Anna Ceranic Toplak.
A homemaker and mother, Eleanor had been the dietary supervisor for St. John Lutheran Home in Mars.
Active in her community, Eleanor was a member of the St. Kilian Church and was past president of the Fraternity of Christian Mothers. She also served on the Mars VFD Ladies Auxiliary, had served lunches at the Cranberry Senior Center and volunteered for 10 years at St. Barnabas Home in Gibsonia.
She was an avid ballroom dancer.
Surviving are her two daughters, Judith Wagner and her husband, William, of Middlesex Township, and Nancy Burford and her husband, Dennis, of Valencia; her three sons, Charles D. Clark and his wife, Paula, of Beaver Falls, Dennis J. Clark and his wife, Donna, and Timothy M. Clark and his wife, Janice, both of Valencia; her eight grandchildren; her 11 great-grandchildren; her great-great-grandson, and her many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles B. Clark, who she married on Nov. 23, 1940, and who died on Feb. 19, 1985, and by her sister, Betty Zilian.
Clark— The friends of Eleanor E. Clark, who passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2014, will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
