Major Henry J. Thibault, 57, of Butler passed away at 11:24 a.m. Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born on Feb. 25, 1957, in Fall River, Mass., the son of the late Henry Joseph Thibault and Maria (Taylor) Thibault.

Henry was a Corps officer at the Butler Salvation Army. He loved woodworking, riding his motorcycle and especially ministering to others.

Surviving are his wife, Irene J. (Gaskell) Thibault, who he married on June 28, 1980; his two daughters, Sarah (Daniel) DeLeon of Butler and Hannah Thibault at home; his two sisters, Gale Costa and Wendy (Peter) Rosati, all of Fall River, Mass.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Stephen Thibault.
