Barbara Shaw

Barbara L. Shaw, 64, of Middlesex Township, Valencia, died at noon Wednesday in the comfort of her home with her family at her side.

Born in Decatur, Ill., on Feb. 17, 1948, she was the daughter of the late William and Catherina Muraglia McCollim.

Barb had been a school bus driver for A.J. Myers and Son in Mars and Durham Bus Lines in Gibsonia.

She was a social member of Mars VFW Post 7505.

Surviving are her husband, Harrison “Chick” Shaw, who she married on Jan. 15, 1972; her daughters, Michelle Henderson and her husband, Richard, and Alisha Shaw, both of Valencia; her grandchildren, Madalyn and Noah Henderson; and her sisters, Jo Ann Montagna (Chauncey Echement) of Baden and Katrina Weber of Rochester. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Dennerline; and a sister, Maria Staving.
