Mars girls basketball knocked out in WPIAL Class 4A first round; Slippery Rock boys lose season finale: Roundup
Alexis Cashdollar scored 15 points in her final high school game, and No. 14 Mars girls basketball fell 63-36 to third-seed Indiana in Friday’s first round of the WPIAL Class 5A tournament.
Indiana will face No. 6 Penn-Trafford in Wednesday’s quarterfinals.
Boys basketball
Casey Darr scored a team-high 20 points on 11-of-13 shooting at the foul line to close out the regular season as Slippery Rock lost 73-40 to Farrell.
The Rockets slipped to 2-20 on the year. Luke Caldwell scored seven points in the finale.
