Brady May’s last-second 3 launches SRU men’s basketball past Clarion: Roundup

Brady Mayo’s 3-pointer with 4.7 to go pushed Slippery Rock University’s men’s basketball team past Clarion 80-78 at home Wednesday.

The win pushed The Rock to 15-8 on the season (8-7 in PSAC West play), and sits them at the No. 4 spot in the division standings, which, if it holds, would give them a home conference playoff game.

Slippery Rock is assured a winning record for the seventh consecutive season. It led the Golden Eagles 70-49 with 9:25 remaining in regulation.

Butler graduate Braylon Littlejohn scored six points in the win. SRU plays rival Indiana (Pa.) on Saturday.
