The Route 19 corridor welcomed a new restaurant to the region.

Lao Sze Chuan Pittsburgh, which specializes in authentic Sichuan cuisine, officially opened following a ribbon-cutting ceremony Sunday, Feb. 8, at 936 Sheraton Drive.

The Butler County Chamber of Commerce hosted the ceremony in partnership with the Southern Butler County Business Association.

Dishes include Lao Sze Chuan’s songshu mandarin fish, Sichuan mao roasted duck and honey walnut shrimp.

The restaurant’s hours are 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and noon to 9 p.m. Sunday.
