The Valencia Presbyterian Church deacons are holding a chili cook-off Feb. 24 at 6:30 p.m. in the church’s fellowship hall, 80 Sterrett St., Valencia.

Members are asked to bring their best batch of chili, and community members are invited to enjoy a free meal and vote for their favorite recipe. There will be a coloring contest for children, as well.

The church will have its Ash Wednesday Service at 7 p.m. Feb. 18.
