Cass, I guess I should clarify my statement so that you might better understand my point. I'm not saying that Obama mocked religion by having a fathers day event. The point I'm trying to make is that our president has a hard time sticking to his word. He stated before he took office that he is a Christian and then stood before fellow American's quoting Bible scripture then stating that those who believe it may be considered extremists. On fathers day he attended a church in which he gave a speech about how too many black fathers are absent in their children's lives. He continued to quote scripture referring to the sermon on the mount. In the end of his speech he stated this; "We do what we can to build our house upon the sturdiest rock. And when the winds come, and the rains fall, and they beat upon that house, we keep faith that our Father will be there to guide us, and watch over us, and protect us, and lead His children through the darkest of storms into light of a better day. That is my prayer for all of us on this Father's Day, and that is my hope for this country in the years ahead. May God Bless you and your children. Thank you." If he believes what he's stating to be truth then why is it so hard for him to stand before American citizens and make affirmative choices that support that? That's my point!

For the record Joe, I don't much appreciate any political figure or otherwise spending my hard earned tax dollars frivolously. I would be critical of that type

of behavior no matter what party they represent. If you want to read my rebuttal to the father's day comment read the post I made previously. It may not have been clearly stated in my last post. If you have further difficulty understanding my point maybe you could research it a little then get back to me.

Coincidently Cass; I watch several news stations including Fox, CNN, etc. Rush by far is not the only one criticizing Obama. People in his own party

are coming forward every day. In short he's losing the support of even his own voters. I personally know of at least 3 people in my own circle of family

and friends who voted for him and are having regrets now. I'm not necessarily saying that I was happy with either party. I honestly don't know where we'd be either way. I do know we wouldn't be facing far left agenda that Obama represents and for that I'd be much more content!
