Applications are open for a scholarship aimed to aid students who are pursuing a career in manufacturing.

The Butler County Manufacturing Consortium, through the Tri-County Workforce Investment Board, will award a $1,000 scholarship for the upcoming academic year.

Applicants must be a graduating senior from a Butler County high school enrolling in post-secondary education, which includes a four-year institution, technical school or community college.

Applications are due by 4 p.m. April 8, and can be submitted through the Tri-County Workforce Investment Board website.
