Paving contractor Shields Asphalt Paving, of Bakerstown, Allegheny County, has received two industry awards for its work on two Pennsylvania Department of Transportation projects.

Shields received the awards from the Pennsylvania Asphalt Pavement Association during its annual conference and awards ceremony last month in Hershey.

The projects were on Route 285 in Crawford County and on Route 68 in Clarion County.
