BUTLER TWP — The Oak Hills Garden Club will host a spring garden sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the South Butler Fire Hall, Litman and Old Plank roads.

The sale will feature plants from member gardens and Psarcik's Greenhouse. AChinese auction will be held and refreshments will be provided.

BUTLER TWP — Aflea market and bazaar will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in the fellowship hall of Oak Hills Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, Township Line Road.

ZELIENOPLE — The Passavant Retirement Community, 401 S. Main St., will host poetry programs Thursday and June 15.Award-winning poet Barbara Crooker will speak at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Center for Creative Expression in the Olde Main Building.The class Growing, Stretching and Healing through Poetry and Prose will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. June 15.The session will be led by instructor Shirley Stevens. CHERRY TWP — The North Trails Public Library and Bookmobile will host its annual Family Funfest from 3 to 7 p.m. June 10 on the campus of Moniteau High School, 1810 West Sunbury Road.The event will include games, crafts, prizes and food.Notices, in writing, of festivals, fundraising events, newly elected officers and other news from clubs and nonprofit groups should be sent to the Focus department one week in advance of the event.
