John M. Robb
John M. Robb, 92, of the Lowrie House, formerly of Westwood Manor, died at 2:55 p.m. Wednesday in the Lowrie House.
Born April 12, 1914, in Prospect, he was the son of Oliver W. Robb and Cora McClure.
He graduated from Peekskill Military Academy in Peekskill, N.Y., and attended Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa.
He was a senior accountant with Armco Steel Corp., Butler works, and retired in 1976 after 42 years of service.
A long member of the First United Methodist Church of Butler, he served as treasurer and youth director, and sang in the choir there.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Catherine V. Smoyer Robb, whom he married on Jan. 31, 1936; three sons, John William Robb of Naples, Fla., James Nelson Robb of Corry, Pa., and David Bruce Robb of Key West, Fla.; five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister.
