Youth bereavement baking course coming to Good Samaritan

Hope’s Road, formerly Good Samaritan Hospice’s Youth Bereavement Care, will host a free “Bake Your Heart Out” event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 14, at Flour Power Baking Studio, 4655 William Flynn Highway, Suite 114, Allison Park.

Bake Your Heart Out is a free youth bereavement care event hosted by Hope’s Road, which invites youths and their families to honor and remember a special person who has passed away through prayer and shared family recipes, stories and traditions. Participants will bake sweet treats in memory of their loved one. A light lunch will be provided.

Children must be accompanied by an adult. Hope’s Road is rooted in the Christian faith and welcomes individuals of all faiths and backgrounds.
