Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Bayne
Elizabeth May “Betty” Bayne, 90, of Sarver, passed away Sunday, Jan. 25, 2026, at her home.
Born May 24, 1935, in Morgantown, W.Va., she was the daughter of Lloyd Blosser and Martha June (Campbell) Blosser.
Betty worked as a secretary for Universal Lubricating, Armstrong Store Fixtures and H&R Block. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown, AARP and the Dorseyville Senior Center. Betty owned a race car that three of her sons-in-law raced at Lernerville and Pennsylvania Motor Speedway. She enjoyed bingo and spending time with her family.
Surviving are two daughters, Karen J. (Carl) Bittner, of Sarver, and Debra J. Bayne, of Butler; five grandchildren, Thomas Fahrney, Tara (Bittner) Barthel, Kevin Bittner, Jacob Speicher and Jeremy Speicher; and five great-grandchildren, Laine Speicher, Skylar Barthel, Maverick Speicher, Cheyenne Barthel and Jonathan Osche.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Theodore “Ted” Bayne; her daughter, Diana Fahrney; one grandson, Chad Michael Bittner; and her sister, Dolores June Perkins.
BAYNE — Friends of Elizabeth May “Betty” Bayne, who died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2026, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 30, at the funeral home, with Pastor Marissa DeVries officiating.
Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Gardens.
