Camden Williams

Camden Lloyd Williams, 94, of Callery passed away Sunday at VA Butler Healthcare.

Born June 18, 1918, in Diana, W.Va., he was the son of the late Cornelius and Ella (Allman) Williams.

Camden was affiliated with the Crestview Community Church in Callery. He proudly served his country during World War II as an aviation metal smith third class in the U.S. Navy. In 1978, after many years of dedicated service as a mechanic, he retired from J&L.

Camden was a lifelong and strong supporter of the Second Amendment who was a lifetime member of the NRA, the Unionville Rifle Team, the Beaver Valley Rifle and Pistol Club and the Marion Hill Sportsmen's Club. His passion for firearms included his hobby as a gunsmith.

He was an extensive traveler who cherished his time spent outdoors hunting and fishing. In addition, Camden was an avid photographer who was a member of the Beaver County Camera Club.

He will be lovingly remembered by his three children, William C. “Bill” Williams of Callery, Steve Williams and his wife, Barb, of Onalaska, Texas, and Nancy Houk and her husband, Jim, of New Castle; eight grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Viola (Lynch) Williams, who passed away in 1997; his son, Richard Williams; his brother, Oskar; his sister, Mary; six half-brothers; and two half-sisters.

WILLIAMS — Camden Lloyd Williams passed away Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012. The Williams family will welcome friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 116 E. Main St., Evans City.A funeral ceremony will be celebrated at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Robert Goossen officiating.
