Raymond McCune

Raymond “Ted” McCune, 79, of Butler, passed away on Friday, Oct. 29, 2021, after a short illness at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born Aug. 28, 1942, in Butler, the son of the late John and Evelyn (Reges) McCune.

He enjoyed watching NASCAR and the Pittsburgh sports teams, playing Keno and building jigsaw puzzles. He was retired from Sehman Tire. He was of Christian faith.

Surviving are his wife, Linda McCune; his sons, Raymond (Phyllis) McCune of Butler, Prescott (Liza) McCune of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Stephen (Tina) McCune of Butler; his grandchildren, Kristin McCune, Kevin (Marissa) McCune, Dustin (Hayley) McCune and Destany McCune; his great-grandchild, Hudson; his sisters, Dorrie (John) Sarver, Edith Sumney and Esther (John) Daly; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Lawrence, John, Russel, James, Danny and Howard; and his sisters, Shirley and Judy.

McCune — Services were held privately by the family for Raymond “Ted” McCune, who died Friday, Oct. 29, 2021.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his honor to the Butler County Humane Society.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Boylan Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Connoquenessing Township, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.
