Thomas Buzanoski

Buzanoski

Thomas E. “Buzzy”/“Tom” Buzanoski, 69, of Butler, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of stories, laughter and friendships that spanned generations.

Born Nov. 19, 1956, in Butler, Tom was the son of the late Edward J. and Flora Mae (Henderson) Buzanoski.

Tom was a proud graduate of Butler High School and a man who never forgot where he came from. Known for his big personality and charm, Tom had a rare gift: he could strike up a conversation with anyone and walk away with a new friend. He believed deeply in savoring every moment, often living by the simple philosophy, “Don’t save the good times for later — live fully today, because tomorrow isn’t promised.” His approach to life perfectly echoed these words, “Time is the most valuable thing a man can spend.”

Tom worked full-time for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, but his passions extended far beyond his career. A lifelong enthusiast of flea marketing, financial investing, card collecting and professional wrestling, Tom was perhaps best known for his extraordinary three-decade run in the wrestling world. Performing under the names The California Kid, T.C. Reynolds, Tuco the Bounty Hunter, and the unforgettable “Prince of Pranks,” Doink the Clown, Tom delighted crowds with his athleticism, humor and showmanship. Wrestling wasn’t just entertainment for him — it was another way to connect with people and spread (ridiculous) joy.

Tom was previously married to Judy Gibson Buzanoski Wissinger and Amy Watson Buzanoski. He was father to Matthew (Kait) Buzanoski, Megan Buzanoski and Macey (Adam) Bresnahan; and proud grandfather to Brody Buzanoski. He is also survived by his siblings, Robert Buzanoski and Amy (Chris) Lehman; nephew, Philip; many cousins; and special friends, Kevin and Alecia McKeag, and their children, Connor and Cayden.

Tom lived boldly, laughed often and loved deeply. His legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched, the arenas he energized, and the family and friends who will forever remember a man who truly enjoyed life to the fullest.
