Kenneth A. Tressler
Kenneth A. Tressler, 90, of Butler passed away Thursday at Chicora Medical Center.
He was born March 19, 1927, in Cumberland, Md., to the late Glenn O. Tressler and the late Ivadell I. Kingon Tressler.
Kenneth worked as press line supervisor at Castle Rubber, retiring in 1989. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in World War II. Kenneth enjoyed working on his apartments.
He is survived by his one son, Kenneth A. Tressler Jr., and his wife, Judy, of Butler; two grandsons, Daniel Tressler and his wife, Amber, of Butler, and Steven Tressler and his wife, Aimee, of Slippery Rock; and five great-grandchildren, Bradley Tressler, Cody Tressler, Zachary Tressler, Madison Tressler and Gavin Tressler.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister and four brothers. He was the last member of his immediate family.
TRESSLER — Friends of Kenneth A. Tressler, who died Thursday, May 18, 2017, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler. Funeral services will immediately follow visitation at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Bruce Gascoine, pastor of Christ Community United Methodist Church, officiating.
