John P. Martino, 58, of Boyers, passed away Friday, Jan. 16, 2026.

He was born Jan. 16, 1968, in Grove City, the son of Patsy V. and M. Althea (Heller) Martino.

John was a graduate of Moniteau High School, Class of 1985, and later attended the New Castle School of Trades. He was a member of St. Faustina Parish. John worked as a mechanic for over 30 years with various crane operations. He was a member of the Boyers Sportsman’s Association and loved hunting with his family. He enjoyed fast cars and spending time with his family and friends.

John is survived by his daughter, Amanda Martino, of Harrisville; his three sons, Patrick, Nick (Samantha) and Matthew (Aleah), all of Boyers; four grandchildren, Wyatt, Collin, Anna and Vinny; his mother, Althea; his close friend, Diane Rugg; two brothers, Joe (Jamie) Martino, of Boyers, and Brian (Diana) Martino, of Hilliards; sister-in-law, Patti (DeMatteis) Martino; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

John was preceded in death by his daughter, Heather; father, Patsy; and brother, Keith.

MARTINO — Family and friends of John P. Martino, who died Friday, Jan. 16, 2026, will be received for visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, at WILLIAM F. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 132 Main St., West Sunbury.

A blessing service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, at the funeral home, with Father Adam Verona, of St. Faustina Parish, officiating.

Burial to follow at Epiphany Catholic Cemetery, Deer Road, Boyers.
