Head-on collision reported Sunday night on I-79
At least one patient was transported from the scene of a two-vehicle, head-on crash Sunday night on I-79 north in Cranberry Township, according to Butler County Emergency Services dispatch.
Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company Chief Scott Garing said the vehicles sustained heavy damage, but there was no entrapment.
The crash occurred around the 78.8 mile marker.
Emergency crews were on the scene for about an hour and 15 minutes.
