Authorities have identified the man killed in a crash between a utility-terrain vehicle and a paratransit van Friday, Jan. 16, on Boyers Road in Marion Township.
John Martino, 58, of Boyers, was the UTV driver killed in the crash, according to Butler County Coroner Korynne Young. Martino’s cause and manner of death were not immediately available.
The crash was reported just before 12:30 p.m. between the UTV and Ford van.
Both vehicles showed heavy damage and were towed away from the scene by 3 p.m.
“The six people that were in the paratransit van were taken to Grove City hospital,” said Doug Dick, chief of Superior Ambulance Service. “They were all minor (injuries).”
Boyers Road was closed from Harrisville Road to West Sunbury Road while emergency crews investigated the wreckage.
