Penn State Extension is offering a three-part webinar for new horse owners to learn about how to choose and care for the right horse.

The series, titled “Hold Your Horses: What to Know When Buying a New Horse,” will be shown in three parts from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 12, 19 and 26. Participants must register by 7 p.m. Feb. 12 and pay a $15 registration fee.

The series will guide participants through choosing the right horse for their goals and lifestyle, caring for a horse, budgeting, transportation, nutrition and understanding equine behavior. Registrants will also have access to webinar recordings.
