Dennis R. Morrison, 66, of Butler died Thursday at his home.

Born Sept. 20, 1946 in Allegheny County, he was a son of the late Thomas W. and Pauline R. (Dunson) Morrison.

Dennis graduated from St. Justin's High School in Mount Washington and worked for the Pittsburgh Parking Authority.

He volunteered for the Butler VA Medical Center as its activities bus driver. He enjoyed fishing, camping and horseback riding and was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan.

Dennis was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper for the 82nd Airborne Division.

He is survived by his son, Sean T. Morrison; his brother, Paul Morrison; his nieces and nephews Tammy A. Morrison, Amy M. Morrison-Balestra, Kevin P. Morrison, Timothy T. Morrison, Shannon M. Morrison, Sara R. Morrison-Vasquez and Kellie J. Morrison; and numerous great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy T. Morrison, and a sister, Karen K. Morrison.
