Jesse E. Redmond, 81, of Harrisville died at 12:02 p.m. Saturday at Grove City Medical Center.

He was born March 12, 1936, in Clintonville, Pa., to Jesse W. and Marie Peters Redmond. Jesse married Geraldine E. Wagner on June 19, 1987. He was a truck driver and was self-employed at Jesse's Car Clinic and Salvage Yard in Harrisville. Jesse loved his cars.

Mr. Redmond is survived by his wife, Geraldine E. Redmond, at the home; and seven children, Earl Redmond of Strasburg, N.D., Cynthia Redmond of Mayer, Ariz., Jim Redmond of Mayer, Ariz., Kelly Redmond of Polk, Pa., Richard Redmond McDowell Jr. of Slippery Rock, Steven McDowell of Memphis, Tenn., and Jeffrey McDowell of Harrisville.

He is also survived by one sister, Linda Redmond of Grove City; one brother, Michael Redmond of Harrisville; and 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Jesse was preceded in death by his parents.

REDMOND — Visitation for Jesse E. Redmond, who died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017, will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Cunningham Funeral Home, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City.A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Willard Morse officiating. Burial will be at Prairie Cemetery in Harrisville.
