James Weigle

James Weigle, 75, of Butler passed away unexpectedly Monday in the emergency room at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born Sept. 4, 1935, in Cabot, to the late Roy Weigle and Elsie (Troutman) Weigle.

Jim retired from Warehouse Electrical Supply of Butler.

A Protestant, he was a 50-year member of the William H. Miller Lodge 769 F&AM and a member of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of New Castle.

He was a graduate of Butler High School and The Butler Business School, and he was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He enjoyed antique cars, the outdoors, and working around his home.

Jim will be sadly missed by his family, friends and his faithful dog, Mandy.

James is survived by his loving spouse Judith, who he married Sept. 14, 1963; one sister, Janet (Harold) Swift of Gibsonia; one brother, Frank (Susie) Weigle of Sand Springs, Okla.; seven nieces, Sue Galey, Carol Unitas, Michele Leeman, Stefanie Atkinson, Leslie Sibble and Leah and Sarah Weigle; and six nephews, Tom Swift, John and Jed Weigle and Gregg, Nate and Tim Miller.

<B>WEIGLE</B>— There will be no public visitation, A private funeral service for James Weigle, who died Monday, March 28, 2011, will be held with the Rev. Dr. Robert Peterson of St. John's Reformed Church officiating. Burial will take place in Butler County Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations to be made to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Butler, PA 16001.Arrangements are being handle by <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, Butler.
