Elizabeth Nelson, 101, of Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot, formerly of Gibsonia, passed away Friday at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

Born on March 31, 1913, in Benton, Ill., she was the daughter of the late William H. Moore and Stella Ella Hartley.

Elizabeth had worked as a teacher in the Pittsburgh area.

Surviving are her cousin, Susanne, and her husband, Bill Gillespie, of Saxonburg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood Edward Nelson.

Nelson— Viewing for Elizabeth Nelson, who passed away Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, will be from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Private graveside services will follow in Lakewood Memorial Gardens.A public memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Lund Chapel at Concordia Lutheran Ministries with the Rev.
